You know I can’t stand that thing

I don’t blame Lupe Lamora for calling out Franz Sanchez and his weird diamond-draped iguana in Licence To Kill.  It’s probably my only knock against Sanchez as a villain.  Otherwise, he is one of the best villains of all time.

There are a few main questions on the topic of Sanchez’s dumb iguana: why give him an iguana in the first place?  To display his eccentricity or disconnectedness?  Why on earth does it have a diamond collar?
