The above line may read slightly stiff on paper, but it sets up a tightly wound confrontation that never wastes a moment. Bond’s quiet command of the situation is questioned, but the whole time Bond has the upper hand thanks to his expert knowledge of firearms.
Notice there are no explosions? No spectacle needed here. This is a face to face confrontation in the simplest of terms that I hope future Bond movies can replicate. Often when Bond movies keep things simple, memorable moments are born.
