A View To A Kill (1985)

Why don’t you enlighten me, Zorin?

In A View To A Kill, Bond’s response to getting caught in the act (and the dark) by Zorin and Mayday is clever, but the setup behind it is harder to buy. It feels rather convenient that Zorin and Mayday just happen to be lurking on the third floor of City Hall at the exact moment Bond and Stacy Sutton start digging through Zorin Enterprises files. If Zorin truly suspected interference, it’d make more sense for him to delegate the task instead of personally pursuing Bond and Sutton. He came with Mayday and a few others, mind you. So why insist on getting his hands dirty?
