Silva’s introduction and rat story in Skyfall is pretty epic. It’s an underrated sequence that unfortunately gets lost in some of the other distracting elements of their time in his compound, particularly the contrived William Tell apple shot sequence and Silva’s anticlimactic capture. Maybe a darker, nighttime affair during a rainstorm would’ve set a more sinister mood?

I don’t know why, but despite Silva’s awesome character, the portrayal doesn’t stand out as an all-time villain performance, when it seems like it should.
