With the latest James Bond video game getting released in a month, there have been numerous leaks, storyline info and now the Lana del Rey theme song released (which I do enjoy), much to my chagrin. As I’ve stated on previous posts and in the About section of the site, my main focus of James Bond are the movies. Don’t get me wrong, I was obsessed with GoldenEye 64, played all of the games up until Nightfire, and try to indulge in James Bond movie adjacent media from time to time. It’s probably not a groundbreaking thing to say, but I’m sorry, there’s just nothing that compares to a James Bond movie.
All of the hype and coverage of First Light just makes me sad. Sad in knowing that James Bond video game fans (who really are they anyway at this point???) are feasting while my James Bond movie self is despondent. Don’t worry, I won’t get too excited.
