Yes, James Bond actually deployed that pickup line.

Hard to believe, but he really does drop this timeless clunker when he first meets Domino Derval in Thunderball (while snorkeling, no less).  It’s not exactly 007’s most inspired piece of dialogue, and yet because he’s Bond, she was instantly captivated.  Naturally.

Still, it’s endlessly amusing that cinema’s most suave secret agent once resorted to one of the most cliché pickup lines in the book.
