This line from From Russia With Love might be the weakest quip of all the James Bond movies. It falls flat as uninspired, humorless, and completely unworthy of the thrilling helicopter takedown that precedes it. After such an impressive display of Bond’s shooting precision, the line feels like an afterthought rather than a reward. Moreover, the helicopter crew’s decision to rely on hand grenades against a grounded target seems tactically absurd and an error that, fittingly, costs them everything.
