This is quite the Scaramanga quote from The Man With The Golden Gun. Although rightfully egotistical, Scaramanga was a bit rushed in his thinking (overwhelmed with Bond’s presence?) and almost stammered in his conversation with Bond when he first visits his island.
This scene is a prime example of the quintessential James Bond villain trope that has plagued haters for a long time: “here is my headquarters Mr. Bond and my extensive sinister plan to take over the world”!
