Every so often, I come across a social media post from a new Bond fan asking about the best order to watch the James Bond movies. Should they be watched in order, skip the “bad” ones, stick with the modern films, or perhaps watch every other Bond movie? Every answer except “chronologically” is completely wrong…

No extravagant, complicated plots.  No back-stabbings or double agents.  I don’t really even need an exotic location. How about a domestic (UK) threat with a straightforward, cut and dry problem?  Like kidnapping or extortion.  Maybe money laundering or some other exploitation?  No nukes, no missing spacecraft- and please, for the love of god, no computer…
