Peaky Blinders’ Steven Knight – Bond 26 writer

This is great news from a plot perspective.  If he uses even a tenth of some of the awesomeness of Peaky Blinders or SAS: Rogue Heroes, we are in good hands.  I’d have to imagine as well that this would be a good sign for a historical Bond 26 – either a total reimagining from the start or an awesome 1960s period piece.  Fingers crossed!

Bond slaps Dink’s butt goodbye. Big yikes!  A part of me wants to spit out a drink every time I watch this scene from Goldfinger.  It’s easily one of the most misogynistic and primitive Bond moments in the entire series!  That’s the 1960s for you I guess…
