The car had it all, and most importantly, Bond used it all!  I hate when Q gadgets are introduced but go unused.  In one of the best car “roles” of the franchise in The Living Daylights, Bond leans on his Aston Martin V8 Volante gadgets to the max: he shoots stinger missiles, uses a car-slicing laser beam, automatic wheel traction spikes, and a rocket booster!   And the car goes out with a bang – literally – when Bond deploys it’s self-destruct system perfectly.  Bravo!
