“I wouldn’t have put it quite that way, sir.”

Thunderball has a neat exchange between M and Bond where Bond requests going to Nassau, Bahamas instead of Canada for Operation Thunderball.  Bond convinces M after stating he saw a dead Francois Derval, and would rather inquire with his sister Domino who’s in Nassau.

It’s a short M scene but a cool instance where Bond requests a change for a mission and it’s granted.  I like when Bond’s mission logistics are discussed and we get some insight into MI6’s agent deployment.
