Sad to hear that the actor Joe Don Baker who portrayed James Bond ally Jack Wade (GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies) and villain Brad Whitaker (The Living Daylights) has passed away at the age of 88.

It speaks volumes of his range of acting in the James Bond world that he could portray a lunatic psychopath villain across Timothy Dalton and solid comic relief for Pierce Brosnan.  I’ll always remember his roles with two words and a quote: “muffy” and “Jimbo”…and “You’ve had your eight, now I’ll have my eighty!”  RIP.
