ScreenRant’s Christopher Nolan/James Bond popularity contest

I must object to the premise behind ScreenRant’s latest James Bond article, Christopher Nolan Is More Popular Than James Bond & It’s Not Up For Debate. Do we really need to hold a popularity contest between Christopher Nolan and James Bond? Especially when the article itself begins to undermine its own box office argument halfway through.

Yes, Christopher Nolan and James Bond are both major cinematic forces with enduring legacies. But declaring the comparison “not up for debate” feels especially misplaced when Nolan has spoken openly about Bond’s influence on his own filmmaking. It reads less like thoughtful analysis and more like manufactured controversy. It’s clickbait city and ScreenRant’s the mayor.
