“A woman doesn’t need to play [Bond]”

Hannah Waddingham’s refreshingly direct response to the inevitable “female James Bond” question says more in one sentence than most drawn-out arguments on the topic. I also like her confidence in pointing out that women have “other things to do” rather than simply inheriting 007, especially with her own spy series, or her “version of 007” as she calls it, is set to premier. Sometimes a short answer is the best one, and in this case a straightforward way to put the decades-old debate to rest.

In my opinion, GoldenEye‘s concealed satellite dish is a more convincing hidden crater base than the rocket launch facility in You Only Live Twice. It’s a great sequence in The Living Daylights…something about the gentle toss of the seemingly perfectly weighted glass milk bottles that end in explosions makes it great.  Or is it just me?
