Casino Royale (2006)

Funny game, right?

Geoffrey Wright’s Felix Leiter makes an immediate impression in Casino Royale. His cool, understated introduction perfectly suits a man who can stop Bond from making a disastrous mistake without raising his voice. Restraining Bond’s arm and knife while casually steering him back to the poker table, Wright’s Leiter piques Bond’s interest and persuades Bond to back off from killing Le Chiffre. That is, with a buy-in back to the poker table with the CIA’s backing. From that moment on, it’s easy to see why Bond considers his “brother from Langley” as a reliable ally and a valuable asset.
