As an excited Bond fan, it feels strange to say this, but I have little interest in what betting oddsmakers or Polymarket have to say about Bond 26 casting. Their predictions are increasingly treated as legitimate “news” by entertainment outlets, and I think that does more to dilute the conversation than enhance it. Speculation is part of the fun, but it becomes far less interesting when it’s driven by online gamblers or social media hype rather than actual reporting.
I’d prefer to see casting rumors only tied to credible interviews, industry leaks, or genuine production developments. At least those offer some insight into the direction of Bond 26. Betting odds are ultimately just a reflection of online momentum and crowd behavior, not necessarily insider knowledge. Treating them as meaningful updates is only added noise.
