I think you’re a sexist, misogynist dinosaur

Proverbial shots are fired by M in GoldenEye when she meets Bond in her office. It’s a pretty brutal takedown, and from what I can remember, I don’t think Bond has been called a misogynist in any other movie. Dame Judi Dench deserves praise for holding her own against 007, and this scene was a major reason why her portrayal got off on the right foot.

Bond’s only response, and not rebuttal, to her digs is “Point taken,” signaling that he has no desire to pick a fight with M. She quickly earns Bond’s respect and sets a precedent as an intimidating authority figure for not only subsequent Brosnan movies but also all of Craig’s.
