GoldenEye got a lot of things right, and it didn’t end with its iconic opening, sharp pacing, and strong characters. And it also didn’t end with the henchman of the movie, Boris Grishenko, who is a curiously underrated henchman. As henchmen go, he’s unusually memorable and gleefully steals scenes with his manic confidence and perfectly timed outbursts like in the above line.
It really says something about a Bond movie when a henchman of all characters leaves such a lasting impression. And it’s sorely missed, since in Daniel Craig Bond movies lack strong henchmen, at least to Boris Grishenko’s extent. Overall, Boris is just a character you actually look forward to seeing again.
