In a first of a series of posts referencing Bond 26 producer Amy Pascal’s comments on how she’s “most afraid of fucking [Bond 26] up,” I will start with the most obvious pitfall that is plaguing media nowadays: artificial intelligence.

Now, full disclosure, I use AI in my post composition to tighten up grammar and post structure to help explicitly define my opinions on various Bond topics in seven sentences or less. It’s one thing to use it for a hobby like I do, but widespread use of AI in an expensive movie production, especially for visuals, is a dangerous endeavor. I’ll walk out of the theater if I ever see Bond shoot his Walther PPK with six fingers.

On the other hand, using AI in the writing or project planning process is more understandable, and I’ve found AI should be used as a tool and not a crutch. Overall, any AI contribution to a Bond movie should be tightly controlled and potentially disclosed. I don’t want Bond to be the first major movie character with a careless AI blunder!
