The infamous bed scene from A View To A Kill remains one of the most awkward James Bond moments of all time.  Beyond the odd Zorin/May Day dynamic that seems to require a strange kind of “permission” to proceed, the scene is weighed down by the glaring age gap and lack of chemistry between Roger Moore’s veteran Bond and Grace Jones’ fierce, almost emotionless May Day.  It feels like a forced romantic connection that results in what feels more like an obligation than genuine seduction.  Moving on!
