Per the latest Deadline article, it seems that no one has in fact “screen tested” for the role?  What about the reports of role-playing Brosnan’s Bond from GoldenEye?!  Bizarre.

Glad to hear James Bond will in fact be a male and from the British Isles.  As it should be!

Also (of course) love that it is speculated that the actor would be in his late 20s or early 30s, making it a real possibility that it will take place during Bond’s Royal Navy Commander days.  Awesome!
