The extravagant $85 million South Florida estate Villa Skyfall (Zillow listing) is undeniably impressive, but beyond its name and the Aston Martin DB5 parked on site, I struggle to see much genuine James Bond inspiration. A home packed with overt Bond references risks feeling more like a themed attraction than an elegant tribute, so I can understand why there isn’t Bond memorabilia on the walls or explicit references to any movies.

I envision his ideal bachelor pad to definitely be modern, sophisticated and technologically advanced, but less loud visually and more understated for someone who spends so little time at home, especially a house that’s not eight figures in price.
