Tom Holland? Respectfully, no thank you

Tom Holland recently addressed the possibility of playing James Bond in Bond 26 and, like most actors would, expressed interest in the role. Along with that interest, he mentioned his working relationship with Amy Pascal from the Spider-Man movies, which honestly makes me nauseous to think that their connection could potentially get him the role of 007.

Respectfully to Tom Holland, please no. He’s a talented actor and his movies have been successful, but I just don’t see him as James Bond. Has he ever really been intimidating in any of his previous roles? I think Bond needs a certain edge, a sense of danger underneath the charm, and with Holland’s babyface, I’m not convinced he has the right look for the part. Bond can absolutely be played by someone younger, but the actor still needs to feel like someone who could walk into a room and command it, which I just don’t get from Tom Holland.
