As I’ve said before, the hype around the 007 First Light video game has only made me more stubborn about Bond 26‘s seemingly endless delay. The game looks great from what I’ve seen online, but let’s be honest, a video game is just not the same as a Bond movie.

Instead, we’re sitting through a record-breaking gap between films after the franchise was sold to Amazon. Oh, and James Bond died. But hey, the creative team assembled for Bond 26 looks promising so far!

I’m not sure when my complaining about the distant release of Bond 26 will end, but there’s still a lot left in the tank. Hopefully after its release, Amazon is much more ambitious with the IP and releases Bond movies on a more frequent basis.
