Miranda Frost’s hesitation about sleeping with Bond in Die Another Day briefly suggests caution, yet the moment is clearly part of her calculated deception. Bond dismisses the concern as “just a number,” unaware that Frost’s betrayal has been in motion from the very beginning. I actually enjoy her storyline as it’s one of the movie’s more compelling ideas. Unfortunately, it’s largely overshadowed by the many excesses that define Die Another Day, leaving a potentially strong character plot lost and underutilized.
