Steven Knight praises Fleming Bond books: “Underrated”

It’s always good to see Bond writers going back to the source material in Ian Fleming’s Bond novels. As I’ve said before on this site, it’s one thing to mimic a book entirely into a movie (which I’d be against), but totally another thing to draw inspiration from Fleming. I don’t want Bond 26 to be a “compare-fest” between the movie and a novel. It has to standalone by itself.

All things point to the right direction from the script side of the house for Bond 26. Oh to be a fly on Steven Knight’s wall!
