Mr. Hinx is given only a single spoken word in Spectre (the blunt expletive “shit” uttered at the end of the train fight) and it feels like a missed opportunity. Given how deliberately quiet the character is, it’d never have made sense for him to deliver lengthy speeches or engage in banter. However, the movie could have afforded him a punchline or two. Here are three alternatives I’ve come up with: the first two authored by me, the third the strongest AI-generated line, selected by me:
- < The boardroom scene, right as he is about to smash Signor Guerra’s head into the table > “Here are my credentials.”
- < The train fight scene, when Mr. Hinx thinks he has the upper hand against Bond > “Last stop!”
- < The train fight scene, in the middle of the struggle > “Your persistence is insufficient.”
