According to ScreenRant, there is currently no established timeline for casting the next James Bond or for releasing the next installment in the franchise.  For longtime fans, this news is frustrating, especially given the renewed excitement that followed No Time To Die.

Frankly, the lack of progress feels like a missed opportunity.  After No Time To Die finally hit theaters, there was a fleeting moment of collective optimism among fans, not necessarily because of the film’s content, but simply due to its long-delayed release.  That energy should have been harnessed immediately to propel the franchise forward, but instead, we’re now facing a lull that risks sapping the enthusiasm that has defined Bond fandom for decades.  It’s a shame because with all new James Bond movies, the future is now.  I really just wish the process had started sooner!
