Goldfinger (1964)

When you gotta go, you gotta go

No, Bond never uttered these lines as a clever euphemism for needing to visit the restroom.  He did, however, deliver them in Goldfinger while subtly trying to pass along a message to the CIA via his tracking device during a tense encounter with Mr. Solo.

Though the plan didn’t quite pan out, the scene stands out for Bond’s civility to a mobster, which was really a means to an end.  It’s a charming reminder that Bond is an effective gentleman secret agent.

Sheriff J.W. Pepper is great comic relief in The Man With The Golden Gun.  He delivers this line with such hilarious conviction, all through his wide smile and chewing tobacco-filled lip.  It’s never a dull moment with him, and despite being on the other side of the world, his rural Louisiana sheriff bona fides shines…
