Clarence Leiter doesn’t mince words when describing Le Chiffre in the unofficial Casino Royale (1954) and frankly, he’s got a point. Le Chiffre looks less like an international criminal mastermind and more like an amphibian. With his round face, damp demeanor, and croaking voice, all he really needs to complete the look is a lily pad and a fly to snack on between hands of baccarat. A truly ribbiting villain.
