I think I remember hearing he was content with it or something to that effect, but I still can’t wrap my head around why he would want his role to end in such a fashion. “Fitting” maybe for how daunted and seemingly tired he was of the role? I don’t buy it and I don’t like it. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the end of No Time To Die.

This was such a bizarre scene from A View To A Kill… So Bond meets up with the detective hired by the French jockey club to investigate Zorin/Pegasus. Where does he meet him? He chooses the most touristy of tourist spots in an Eiffel Tower restaurant that has the dumbest/weirdest “performance” involving whistling and fishpole…
